Veterinary Medical Records
Consultation notes, diagnoses, prescriptions, and related records generated during a Pawsitive Telehealth session constitute veterinary medical records. These records:
Are maintained by the consulting Vet under their professional obligations
Are retained by Pawsitive Telehealth for a minimum of three years from the date of service
May be shared with other treating veterinarians with your consent
Are accessible to you upon written request
Medical records are treated with the highest level of confidentiality. They are never sold to third parties and are disclosed only as required by law or with your explicit consent.

Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Between Clients and Vets — information necessary to provide the consultation
Service Providers — Stripe (payments), Daily.co (video), AWS SES (email), and cloud infrastructure providers, each bound by confidentiality agreements
Legal Compliance — when required by law, subpoena, or court order
Veterinary Licensing Boards — in the event of a complaint or investigation involving a licensed Vet on the Platform
Business Transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to users

Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, role-based access controls, regular security audits, and secure session management. No system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable law.

Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years
Consultation records are retained for a minimum of 3 years from date of service
Payment records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
You may request deletion of your account and non-medical data at any time by contacting us

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell browsing data to ad networks. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings without affecting core Platform functionality.

Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at privacy@pawsitivetelehealth.com and we will delete it promptly.
