• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details.
• Consultation data: appointment dates, times, notes, and messages between you and your Vet.
• Vet credentials: license number, state, and documentation submitted during the verification process.
• Usage data: pages visited, device type, and browser information collected automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the telehealth platform
• Connect clients with veterinarians and facilitate consultations
• Process payments and transfer earnings to Vets
• Send appointment confirmations and reminders
• Verify veterinary licenses and maintain platform integrity
• Improve and develop the Platform
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

• With your Vet: your name, pet details, and concern are shared with the Vet you book with.
• Stripe: payment data is processed by Stripe, subject to their privacy policy.
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and secure cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Consultation records are retained for a minimum of 3 years to comply with veterinary record-keeping standards. You may request deletion of your account by emailing support@pawsitivetelehealth.com.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies solely to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
