We started Pawsitive Telehealth because we grew up watching hardworking veterinarians in small towns stretch themselves thin to care for animals they genuinely loved — and we believed technology could help.
Pawsitive Telehealth was founded in South Georgia — a place where family farms, hunting dogs, backyard chickens, and beloved house pets are just part of everyday life. Animals aren't a hobby here. They're family, livelihood, and community.
Growing up around that, we saw firsthand how much veterinarians do — and how little infrastructure exists to support them. A vet in a rural county might be the only one for fifty miles. Their phone rings after hours. Their clients drive an hour for a follow-up that could've been a ten-minute call.
We built Pawsitive Telehealth to fix that — starting close to home, and expanding from there.
DVMs spend years in school, carry enormous responsibility, and often run their own businesses on top of it. The software they use should make their lives easier — not harder. We obsess over simplicity.
Not everyone lives near a great vet. Telehealth bridges that gap. A family in a rural area deserves the same quality follow-up care as someone in a major city — and their vet deserves to provide it without driving anywhere.
We don't run a marketplace. We don't send strangers. Pawsitive Telehealth is built on the relationships veterinarians have already earned with their clients — we just help those relationships extend online.
Corporate veterinary groups are consolidating fast. We're here for independent practitioners — the solo DVM, the small-town clinic, the mobile vet who works out of a truck. They're the backbone of rural animal care and they deserve a platform built for them.
Tyler grew up in South Georgia and built Pawsitive Telehealth out of a genuine frustration with how hard it is for independent vets to adopt modern tools. He's focused on building infrastructure that respects veterinarians' time, expertise, and existing client relationships — while keeping things simple enough to set up in a day.
