Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pawsitive Telehealth ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including pet owners ("Clients") and licensed veterinarians ("Vets").

2

Description of Service

Pawsitive Telehealth is a technology platform that connects licensed veterinary professionals with pet owners for remote consultations via video call. We do not employ veterinarians and are not a veterinary practice. All medical advice, diagnoses, and treatment decisions are provided solely by the licensed Vet you consult with, who acts as an independent contractor.

3

Telehealth Limitations & State Law Compliance

Veterinary telehealth is regulated at the state level. The type of care available depends on the state where your animal is physically located at the time of the consultation:

Emergency Notice: If your animal is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, do NOT use this Platform — contact a local emergency veterinary clinic immediately or call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435.

4

Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR)

A VCPR is a legally defined relationship required in most states before a veterinarian may diagnose, treat, or prescribe for an animal.

5

Prescribing Limitations

6

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. Vets must hold a valid, active veterinary license in the state where the client's animal is physically located at the time of service, and must complete our verification process before offering services.

7

Informed Consent

Before each consultation, Clients must review and agree to disclosures covering: the nature and limitations of telehealth, VCPR status, prescribing limitations, the emergency disclaimer, and technology/privacy terms. Your electronic agreement is recorded and retained for a minimum of three years.

8

Payments & Fees

Consultation fees are set by individual Vets and displayed on their booking page. There is no per-consultation platform fee — 100% of each client payment is paid out to the Vet via Stripe Connect, less Stripe's standard payment processing fees. Vets pay a flat $49/month platform subscription fee, which includes a 30-day free trial. Clients may cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. Disputes must be reported to support@pawsitivetelehealth.com within 24 hours.

9

Vet Responsibilities

Vets are independent contractors, not employees of Pawsitive Telehealth. Vets are solely responsible for:

10

Prohibited Use

You may not use the Platform to: impersonate any person or entity; submit false or misleading information; attempt to gain unauthorized access; practice veterinary medicine without a valid license; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

11

Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and software on this Platform are the property of Pawsitive Telehealth or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.

12

Limitation of Liability

Pawsitive Telehealth is a technology intermediary and does not practice veterinary medicine. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any medical outcomes resulting from consultations, any indirect or consequential damages, any loss or harm to your animal arising from use of the service, or a vet's failure to comply with applicable state telehealth laws.

13

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, practicing without a valid license, non-payment of the platform subscription fee, or conduct that harms other users or the Platform. Vets whose subscriptions lapse will have their booking pages deactivated until payment is restored.

14

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

15

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
