By accessing or using Pawsitive Telehealth ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including pet owners ("Clients") and licensed veterinarians ("Vets").
Pawsitive Telehealth is a technology platform that connects licensed veterinary professionals with pet owners for remote consultations via video call. We do not employ veterinarians and are not a veterinary practice. All medical advice is provided solely by the licensed Vet you consult with.
Telehealth consultations have inherent limitations. Vets cannot physically examine your pet. Telehealth is not a substitute for in-person emergency care. If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, contact a local veterinary emergency clinic immediately. Diagnoses or treatment plans provided via telehealth may be limited by what can be assessed remotely.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. Vets must hold a valid, active veterinary license in their state of practice and must complete our verification process before offering services.
Consultation fees are set by individual Vets and displayed on their booking page. Pawsitive Telehealth charges a 10% platform fee per consultation. Payment processing fees (charged by Stripe) are also deducted. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@pawsitivetelehealth.com within 24 hours of a consultation.
Vets are independent contractors, not employees of Pawsitive Telehealth. Vets are solely responsible for the quality and accuracy of their medical advice, maintaining an active license, complying with all applicable state veterinary practice laws, and carrying appropriate professional liability insurance.
You may not use the Platform to: impersonate any person or entity, submit false or misleading information, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
All content, logos, and software on this Platform are the property of Pawsitive Telehealth or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.
Pawsitive Telehealth is a technology intermediary. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any medical outcomes resulting from consultations conducted through the Platform, any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss or harm to your pet arising from use of the service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms other users or the Platform.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
